Explored a bit on my own before heading to class..
The Franziskanerkirche, one of the oldest churches in Salzburg. Built on an old Christian praying place.
Not the best pictures, but this is the Salzburg Cathedral (Dom). Completed in 1774. It is considered one of the largest Churches north of the Alps. The origional was burnt down. It has the traditional Renaissance look to it.
St. Peter's Abbey Church and monastery. Founded in 696 by Saint Rupert. In the Middle Ages it was an exceptional writing school. Today it stands as the oldest community of monks in this German territory.
Winged horse in Mirabell Gardens. I will certainly share pictures of The Mirabell Gardens once we get a bit closer to May.View from the north side of the city. I haven't been to this area yet because I live south of the city.
